Yep, John and Cas arrived safe and sound on Tuesday evening and we’ve been going non-stop ever since! As predicted, there has been some serious shopping occurring and I’m sure that future photos of Dylan and Jack will show the fruits of this labour. We’ve been to the beach twice, including today’s trip to the sandcastle contest at Clam Harbour beach, we’ve hit the downtown boardwalk to check out the HMCS Sackville museum followed by a tour around the Citadel, we’ve straightened our back fence (which trust me was no small feat) and Nardine and I have even managed to sneak off and have a night out on the town all to ourselves! Toss in a couple of great meals and a “few” glasses of wine and I think you get a pretty good idea of how are week is going!
Since slowing down would be no fun, we are jumping in our RENTED mini-van (Nardine is liking it way to much) and heading down to the Annapolis Valley for a couple of nights at the Digby Pines resort where we plan on checking out Upper Clements Amusement Park, the Annapolis Royal Tidal Power Station and Kejimkujik National Park. Anyways, instead of writing a whole bunch more I’ll let some pictures do the rest of the talking. I’ve added these plus a bunch more to our photo section.
One last special note – a Happy Anniversary wish to my mom and dad who celebrated 34 years yesterday – congrats guys!
