It’s only day two of Bill and Cheryl’s visit and the house has already turned into Play land. Supporting Dylan’s current puppet passion Bill and I went out and found the coolest toy, “Super Fort” . The foam noodles are connected together by magnetic connectors and colorful tent fabric can be snapped on anywhere the designer wants. Dylan has to fight Grandpa Bill to get her hands on this engineer’s dream. They have already built a puppet theater, fort and tunnel. We have had it home for 2 hours.
Dylan puts on the most amazing puppet shows, which couldn’t have happened without the cute puppets Aunty Sam hand made for her. Sam made 6 wonderful puppets for Dylan. Grandpa’s puppet show was pretty good too.
Grandma also came bearing gifts. Dylan and Jack received awesome yoga pants and hoodies. Dylan’s came with a matching headband and this is how she likes to wear it. She a couple decades late, Dylan would have loved the 80′s.
Hey I figured out how to get on the internet! Not very fast but at least I can check out what`s going on. The photos are awesome, looks like the fort-tunnel-puppet theatre is going to be lots of fun for years to come, can`t wait to get home and try it out. Dylan, you look great in your headband and I also really liked the unicorn costume – I could bearly tell it was you because I thought I was looking at a real unicorn! Jack looked very cool in his box hat, guess I know what to bring him home as presents from now on…I`m glad that everyone is having a good time with Grandma and Grandpa, especially you Nard, you definitely deserve the break! Can`t wait to get home and see you all in a couple of days – I miss my trips to Dairy Queen racing to eat Blizzards with you Dylan, we`ll have to make a date for when I get back! Dylan I’m so happy you like your puppets. Aunty Sam had so much fun making them. Shawn never let me make fairy princess puppets for him. I really like the tunnel/puppet theater idea. Grandpa Bill just remember you have to share the toys with the kids. You never now Dylan you could be rejuvenating the 80s look with your sweat band.
