What a great day!

Jack stops to smell the flowers.Dylan and Jack had a great day today. After Jack’s morning nap the three of us and Grandpa went to the beautiful Inner Harbor for a walk along the Songhees. Family friend’s Ann and Allen joined us, which means we put them to work. Allen carried Jacks food and diaper backpack, you can imagine how much that weighed and Ann pushed the stroller. Dylan and I explored all the beautiful nature and birds along the sea shore. After a nice lunch at the Marina we took a harbor ferry back to Ocean Point where we had parked the car. The ferry ride was a highlight for Dylan and she was quite upset when we got off the boat.

But our great day didn’t stop there! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Dylan and I were given two tickets to see the Wiggles. After waiting for half an hour in our seats (we arrived early) and eating a whole bucket of popcorn the Wiggles made their appearance. They arrived on stage in there red car, jumped out and didn’t stop dancing and singing for the next hour and a half. It was an awesome show, Dylan and I had a great time. The even gave us a Wiggle sticker book on the way out. The best part of the show was watching Dylan sing and dance to all the Wiggle songs. She knows a lot of songs, which might mean she watches too much tv.

Eating our popcorn and waiting for the Wiggles Here they are!!!!! Yummy

Dancing Queen Still dancing More Wiggles

I have just put Dylan to bed and I think she was asleep before I left the room.

On the lighter side, yesterday it hailed in Victoria. Dylan was very amazed at these little white balls falling from the sky so she went out to investigate. Upon her return she corrected my early assessment of hail and called them baby clouds.

It hailed or fell little clouds on my parents deck.

Jack has new PJ’s and I also included a nice photo of my parents who were on their way out to a birthday party.

Jailhouse rock Grandparents night out!
