I did it! This morning I ran my first 10Km race. And I did it under one hour, just by the skin of my nose at 57 minutes. I ran the race with 12,000 other people, so the road was a bit crowded for the first 5km. But towards the end it opened up and had a great finish in front of the Legislature Building. Cecily, Krista (Cecily’s daughter), Toni, Lisette and I made up our all girl team. It was a great experience and I can’t wait for the next one.
Another fun event this weekend was Lisette’s cocktail party for Toni and Dean. The couple will be married this June, just 42 days away in beautiful Okanagan Falls at a local winery. All the girls are going and besides the wedding we are looking forward to playing some golf. And perhaps some wine tasting.

Do they take old people in wheel chairs….awesome Nardine and a great time. I think you may have even ran faster then your husband…..I see the Boston marathon in your future…great job!!
