It’s that time of year again, thousands of kids invade the dockyard at CFB Halifax with dreams of carnival rides, cotton candy and free giveaways – you can never really have enough key chains can you??? Seriously though, the Navy does a really good job of putting on a fun time for all. We hooked up with Kirk, Laurie and Ethan and checked out the event. Dylan really had a good time this year. Unlike the first time we went last year (check out the post) this time around she was old enough to take advantage of everything and really enjoy herself. I think her favorite things were the ferris wheel ride, the ‘pick-a-duck’ carnival game and tours of all the different Navy ships. Jack also had a blast – even while missing a nap. Jack’s favorites – the bouncy castle and the marching bands but surprisingly not the cotton candy, maybe he will be the healthy one in the family after all! Check out all the photos here.
