Happily we landed in Victoria after our 9hours of travel across the country. We made a quick detour in Edmonton, renting a car and speeding out to Amanda and Jeremy’s house to meet the newest addition to the Kwasny clan. Madison Jane is super cute and a very happy baby. Mom and Dad look great and Cory is so grateful that he had the opportunity to see his little niece.
This week is full of celebrations, first we celebrated my new car! The kids and I will need some wheels for our prolonged visit to Victoria, so we are the happy new owners of a Toyota Camry which Dylan has christened Sparkle.
On Monday night we celebrated my parents 35th wedding anniversary at Ferris Grill. Cecily babysat the kids and my brother came down for the occasion. A round of cocktails, 4 beers and two bottles of wine later we all poured ourselves into Sparkle and our DD Matt drove us home. A very happy time was had by all.
Tomorrow morning we will accompany my mom to her swearing in ceremony for her becoming a Canadian citizen. And in typical Cas Fuller form, my mom is throwing a big party tomorrow night. Of course there will be a lot of yummy food and everyone will drink much to much. We will have a great time.
