Well, that may not be 100% accurate but here are the facts so you can draw your own conclusions.
We had Jack’s one month check up today and yes he is healthy and fine. More importantly though, Jack has gained FIVE pounds since his last checkup three weeks ago and now weighs in at a wall smashing thirteen pounds! At his previous check up Jack was measuring at the 97th percentile for height but only 50th for weight. At this check up he was measuring at the 97th for both height and weight so the doctor figures that his weight was just catching up to his height. That had better be the answer or Jack is going to have to get a job pretty soon to support his ‘bottle habit’.
Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Bill are still in town until Sunday and are being a great help around the house. In fact, Dad and I just finished patching up the giant hole in the side of our house. Now you might think that the hole was due to rotting wood from a leak in the window but I secretly think that Jack has throwing his new found weight around the place when we weren’t looking, smashed a hole in the wall, and used the window leak to cover it all up – sneaky kid hey! Either way, the problem is all patched up and it’s on to replacing the patio door today.
