Back at the Park

A chill has crept into our beautiful weather and the rain has started to fall. On the weekend we visited our favorite park with Victor and Mary. The flower beds are starting to show the signs of fall, which really sucks because I was happily enjoying summer.

Dylan brought her bike and loved zooming around the park. The fowl have yet to fly south so Cory’s favorite bird was still out prancing about. After a couple hours in the park we went across the street to Beacon Hill Park drive-in. For all the east coasters reading this, BHDI is the Victoria equivalent of Chicken Burger.

The nice weather allowed Dad to finish a big project. Placing the stones on the house take an incredible about of time. Each stone has to be cut to fit into the puzzle-like pattern before it can be stuck to the wall. But the hard work pays off because it looks beautiful. The front door was completed last year, the back has just been finished.

Here’s a couple more photos of the kids and I for Cory. Dylan received a gift of fairy wings from Toni and wears them all day long. It’s only cute until you have them smack you in the face.
