We have just returned from a fun filled visit to Vancouver. All 5 of us squished into the car for the quick ferry ride and drove to our hotel, downtown Vancouver. This being Jack’s first ferry ride I expected him to be totally mesmerized and in awe of the ship. But the only thing to thrill Jack was the on board playground.
That evening I meet up with two girlfriends, Emily and Steph. We had a few drinks and yummy food at Chill Winstons in Gastown (thanks Steph). It was a very nice (child free) night catching up with friends.
The next day we took off for Stanley park. Before heading into the aquarium, the kids played, chased squirls and most importantly went on a little train ride. I have never seen Jack sit so still or be so quiet as he was during this 10 min train ride.
The aquarium was a delight. Dylan is really into every new experience and Jack now holds a longer attention span and can walk everywhere he goes. He’s also speaking new words everyday and putting together sentences. It was such a nice time, everyone enjoyed themselves.
Before we left on our trip we had a visit from Grandma Nora. He walker was a popular toy with the kids.
