Fall in Ontario

Its been awhile since we have updated our website. I blame it on school. Now the kids are both in school, grade 1 and pre-school our week is crazy busy. Its been six weeks since school started and we are still trying to make it on time. I don’t know why, but mornings are mental.

Weekends though are fun. And we are still getting out each weekend to explore our new city and surrounding area. Recently Cory ran the Army Half Marathon. He achieved a new personal best of 1:38:00, well done chicken! Here are some photos of Cory’s downtown pre-race package pick up with Dylan. The spider is outside the National Art Gallery.

Two weeks ago we visited the beautiful Gatineau Park in Quebec. Its only a 30min car ride from the house and hosts beautiful views of the Canadian Shield and Ottawa River Valley. During our visit the leaves we just starting to turn, so the color aren’t as brilliant and they are today.

How come no snow….we are well entrenched in winter at the moment but they say it will warm up on the weekend. It looks very beautiful in your part of the country and Cheryl and I are looking forward to our visit. Our little munchkins are not little any more…they are sure growing up fast. Hug and kisses to them and see you in a couple weeks.
