It was a great night for tricks and treats, the kids had a blast spooking the neighborhood with all their friends. Dylan dressed up as a witch (again) this year and Jack was a speedy race car diver. The kids helped me make some special treats to share with their [...] Before I ended up on crutches we were having a great long weekend with Cory. On Saturday we travel about a hour south west to the charming town of Merrikville. Although we have many locks in Ottawa we never bore of watching them open and seeing the boats travel through. [...] Last weekend the kids and I hiked though Gatineau Park. It was a warm blue sky day and we wanted to see the changing of the leaves.
